Okkadu Migiladu :
Manchu Manoj's latest outing, Okkadu Migiladu has hit the screens on November 10th, amidst decent expectations in the trade circles. The film was loosely based on the LTTE leader Prabhakaran's untold story which has helped to register average openings at the box office.
Manchu Manoj is one of the basic assets of this film. If not for him, this film would have been quite disappointing. His performance during the crunch action sequences with Sri Lankan army is particularly good. The first half of the film has decent emotions and good sequences which keep the audience interest intact to an extent.
One of the biggest minus points of the film is the second half. There is a sequence where a number of refugees flee in a boat to India. Even though the sequence is thought of and executed well, it goes on for a painful 40 minutes which is where the interest of the audience goes away. The climax looks too cliched as all the problems of the youth leader are solved in just no time.
