Eemaindi Eevela is not a movie for family audiences. It is not a teeny bopper movie either. It is a movie for those past the teens and for those who have just entered into marriages after breezy romances. The movie therefore has a lot of conflict in it. To an extent Sampath Nandi has done justice to that inborn conflict.

Eemaindi Eevela What’s it about: It essentially is the story of Seenu (Varun) and Avantika (Nisha Agarwal). They get married to each other after a whirlwind romance. A romance which leaves them no time to distinguish between love and lust. No small wonder they separate. And what's more decide to go get married again. In the process Seenu tries his luck with Nimisha (Nisha Shah) and Avantika tries hers with Yuva (Shashank). From then on the movie unfolds as to how the couples try to find love and marital happiness. will they find it? In all fairness it is best for the viewer to decide.

What is Good: The director must be congratulated for taking a bold theme. Marital discontent in today's generation is a given. Varun and Nisha Agarwal have played their roles with a decent level of comfort. Communication and technology instead of bringing togetherness has only increased the distance and cultivated a rather fluid sense of morality. Sampath brings that point out well in the manner in which Seenu goes about pestering Nisha for a pre-marital sexual commitment. Certain touchy issues are handled deftly - for instance the concept of transparency among couples. When Seenu tells Nimisha about his first marriage one notices an absolute sense of carelessness. He says it without feeling and regret as if it does not matter much. Also the comedy by Vennela Kishore is refreshingly clean. M S Narayana and Krishna Bhagwan breezed through their bits and are sure to tickle your funny bone.

What is bad: The sleaze in the movie sucks. It is one thing to show hormone-high teenagers ready to hop into bed with all and sundry. But to paint newly married people with the same brush is in bad taste. And also the manner in which the hero and heroine casually enter into a physical relationship can make the ladies in the audience wince with embarrassment. And that is one reason why this movie is not going to have a decent run. Women will think twice before stepping into the hall. The entire first half actually is slightly heavy on the sleaze factor. One would think girls and boys getting physical in internet cafes is so 1990s in nature. The director obviously is not in tune with today's trends. The music too is a disappointment. On the performance side Nisha Shah has to shed her puppy fat and Shashank has to shed his stiffness.

Technical Departments: : Watch this movie only if you are ready to accept a dose of alternate culture. Sampath Naidu has NOT churned out your routine clean family entertainer. But having said that he has provided some food for thought for people who think they can begin and end marital relationships at the drop of a hat!
